What's not to love? The European nutcrackers mate for life; build their nexts in Conifers i.e. - Christmas trees. They hide caches of pine nuts with natural foliage; which they eat in winter. Some seeds are left behind which grow into new trees. They’re crafty corvids - their food caches are carefully disguised with natural camo, like bark or moss. This species is responsible for re-establishing the Swiss Pine.
